Terry Becker, age 84, of Caledonia, passed away December 26, 2024, at Valley View Healthcare, Houston, Minn.
He was born September 23, 1940, in Caledonia, to Lloyd and Florence (Gaspard) Becker. He graduated from Loretto High School in 1958.
Terry owned and operated Becker Lumber Company with his father and uncle Cyril Becker. He then sold authentic log homes and was a timber buyer and exporter. Pulling and raising draft horses was his passion. He passed on his love of animals to his daughters.
He is survived by five daughters: Kelly Becker, Sarah Becker, Laurie Becker, Andrea (Michael) Becker-Schroeder and Jean Becker; a brother, Pat (Jean) Becker; five sisters: Arlene Becker, Gwen (Alex) Ells, Rose Denny, Joan Simmons and Jane Weiss; brother-in-law Carlos Miura, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Carol Ann Miura, son-in-law Joe Davids, and brothers-in-law Bob Denny and Billy Weiss.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank Valley View Healthcare staff and St. Croix Hospice for the care, compassion and kindness shown to Terry.
