According to Fillmore County Sheriff John DeGeorge, at least three tornados were reported to have touched down in western Fillmore County on Memorial Day afternoon, the first confirmed at 1:39 pm. Boys of ’61 camp in Spring Valley

On an early spring day in March of 1931, Fred Cummings, Carimona Township farmer, set out on a patriotic mission.
