David Henry Ask, named after both grandfathers, was born July 6, 1946, to Myran and Lucile Ask in Lanesboro, Minn. He died April 15, 2018, after an almost two-year battle with brain cancer. Dave attended Durkin Elementary. He was attached to VP-24 homeported in Norfolk, Va., and honorably discharged from the Navy.
