Mr. David Webb, January 22, 2024, Fillmore County Journal: “Statistics From Gaza.” He missed a few “statistics”; more follow:

After WW2, many nations of the world gathered in the lUnited Nations and together agreed the Israelis needed their own homeland. After much deliberation, and considering different locations around the world, most agreed on the land we know as Israel. (Interesting, It is the exact land God, centuries before deeded to a man named Abraham. God promised Abraham this land now belongs to his descendants “forever”). The countries of the world, out of their own great wisdom, without consulting God, decided on this land for the Jewish people!

May 14, 1948, (after 1,948 years!), Israel was recognized by the world as a nation! Since that date Israel has had to fight at least 18 wars, each one started by one or more Muslim nations, the first just 10 months after becoming a nation, being attacked by seven Muslim nations. Many innocent Israelis died. Israel had not yet had time to form an adequate military, or to establish a stable government. Still they fought, and won that war!

The world then decided the Palestinians also needed a homeland, but not one Muslim nation would allow them to form a homeland in, or near them. Why? The Palestinians are a warring, hate filled people, so the United Nations decided, (without consulting God), Israel must give up part of Its land to form a Palestinian nation.

Israel has agreed several times to give up more land to the Palestinians, “in order to live in peace,” but peace never comes. Under one agreement, by then Israeli Prime Minister (Yitzhak Rabin? Maybe.), the Jews moved out of a new settlement, with new homes, businesses, furnishings, etc, giving it all up to the Palestinians in order, “to obtain peace.” The Palestinaians first burned down everything, then petitioned the world to build and furnish for them new homes, and businesses. Israel built for them the water, sewer and the electrical systems!

Mr. Webb forgot to mention: that for 1,948 years Muslims had time to form a government, create a nation, and build homes and businesses, but did not, or that on October 7 last year, Hamas, (the Palestinians), attacked Israel, kidnapping, raping, torturing and murdering at least 1,401 Israelis, including beheading infants in their cribs! Hamas also took over 150 hostages, which they refuse to release.

He forgot to mention that the Muslims living with the greatest freedoms are the Palestinians living in the West Bank of Israel, or that Hamas, (the Palestinians), refuse to sign a peace treaty with Israel, or that the Palestinians, with the other Muslim nations have vowed – publicly they will eliminate the nation of Israel, and murder every Jew in every nation. (This vow is part of Palestine’s founding charter.) He forgot to mention that Hamas (the Palestinians), have built tunnels under the West Bank, and in those tunnels have stored supplies – including weapons – and from there have time and time again, attacked and murdered Jews between wars. Mr. Webb forgot to mention the Palestinians hide behind citizens, especially women and children, and in hospitals, so when the Israelis fight back, they must, therefore, kill women and children – or that, in every war innocents are killed. He forgot to mention, while the world continues to condemn, and demand Israel cease warring, no such demands are being made on Hamas, (the Palestinians).

Mr. Webb ended by asking, “What can the people of Gaza do? What should they do? Without consulting God, how about; They could stop attacking; stop murdering Jews?
