In maybe the diamond game of the week, GMLOK softball rallied from a seven-run deficit to top Lyle/Pacelli in SEC action. The Bulldogs spotted the Athletics a 9-2 lead entering the bottom of the fourth. GMLOK then scored five in their half and three more in the bottom of the fifth, tying the game at 10. In the bottom of the sixth, Ally Siskow scored the game-winning run following a single, then an error on the play, as Mark Eickhoff’s Bulldogs prevailed 11-10. Siskow (3-4, 2B, 2 R; 4 IP, 1 H, 2 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 2 K) also collected the pitching win. Zoey Chase (3-4, R), Macy Runck (1-3, 2B, 2 RBI, 2 R), Hailee Warren (2-4, 2B, 3B, RBI, 2 R), Mabel Johnson (2-4, RBI), Gabby Glocke (1-3, 3B, RBI R), Emma Struzyk (1-4, 2B, RBI, 2 R), and Jaelee Hagstrom (1-4, 2B) also did offensive work for GMLOK. The Bulldogs out-hit L/P 15-6 but L/P drew seven walks to the Bulldogs’ one.
