Fillmore Central/Lanesboro 3, Dover-Eyota 10 (FCL: J. Storhoff 1-3, 2B, 2 RBI; Ellie Anderson 1-3, 3B, RBI; Klaudia Biel/Emma Root 1-3, R. D-E scored three each in the fourth and fifth innings to expand a 4-2 lead to 10-2)

Chatfield 0, Cotter 4 (Chat: Rylee Urban 2-3, 6 IP, 7 H, 4 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 8 K, Loss. Cot: Madison Hazelton 7 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 12 K, Win. Cotter broke open a 1-0 game with a three-run sixth. Chatfield had three errors and all the runs scored with two out. The game was a match-up of the East leading Ramblers (6-0, 6-2) and Co-West leading Gophers (4-1, 7-2). Gophers > 4-2, 7-3) 

St. Charles 6, Fillmore Central/Lanesboro 2 (FCL: J. Storhoff 2-4, RBI, 5 IP, 3 H, 4 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 5 K, Loss; K. Biel 2-3, 3B, R; Haley O’Connor 2-3, 2B; Hailey Erickson 2-3, R; E. Root 1-2, R. St. Charles had a three-run fifth to lead 4-0. FCL > 0-4, 2-4) 

Southeast Conference Softball (4/22 & 4/23)

Spring Grove 0, Houston 10 [6] (H. E. Botcher 6 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 12 K. Win; Kylie Stinson 2-4, 2B, 3 RBI, R; Caitlin Brand 2-2, 2B, RBI; Mary Srock 1-3, 2B, 2 RBI, R. SG: Emerson Ingvalson 1-2, 2B; Sydney Holland 1-2. Botcher pitched a two-hitter, and Hurricanes had no errors. The Lions have up 14 free passes)

Spring Grove 8, Schaeffer Academy 11 (SG: Joelle Halverson 2-3, R; Clara Myrah 1-3, R. SG trailed 9-0 before scoring eight but could not catch up. SG had five hits to SA’s four, but SA pitching walked only two) 

Glenville-Emmons/Alden-Conger 4, GMLOK 10 (GMLOK: L. Voigt 4-5, two 2B, 3B, HR (2), 2 RBI, 3 R; Cheyenne Bakken 2-4, 2 RBI, 2 R; A. Kolling 3-4, 2B, 3 RBI, R, 7 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 5 BB, 15 K, Win; Hailee Warren 2-4, RBI; Mollie Voigt 1-2, R) 

Mabel-Canton 4, Houston 2 (MC: T. Wenthold 7 IP, 2 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 5 BB, 15 K, Win; Hope Erickson 2-4, 2B, RBI, 2 R; Kailey Ingvalson 1-4, 2B, RBI. H: E. Botcher 7 IP, 7 H, 4 R, 2 ER, 2 BB, 10 K, Loss; O. Yohe 2-3; Hailey Stark 0-0, 2 R. M-C scored two in their seventh to go-ahead 4-1. They handed Houston its first SEC loss) 

Non-Conference Softball (4/22 – 4/35) 

Fillmore Central/Lanesboro 15, Schaeffer Academy 2 [6] (FCL: J. Storhoff 4-4, 2B, 2 RBI, 4 R, 6 IP, 1 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 3 BB, 14 K, Win; H. O’Connor 1-3, 2B, 2 RBI, 3 R; Emma Ruen 1-2, 2B, RBI, R; Jersey Ristau 1-1, 2 R; E. Anderson 1-4, RBI, R. FCL had a 10-run sixth inning to bust open a 5-2 game)

Mabel-Canton 0, Wabasha-Kellogg 10 [5] (M-C: Kira Snyder 1-1. W-K had a seven-run fifth to break open a 3-0 game) 

Rochester-Lourdes 4, GMLOK 6 (GMLOK: L. Voigt 3-3, 2 R; C. Bakken 1-3, 2B, RBI; Jaelee Hagstrom 1-3, RBI; A. Kolling 7 IP, 9 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 5 BB, 5 K, Win. The Bulldogs built a 4-1 lead after three. Lourdes closed to down 4-3 midway through the fourth but GMLOK responded with two in the bottom of the inning to stoke a 6-3 lead) 

Fillmore Central/Lanesboro 4, GMLOK 3 (FCL: J. Storhoff 6 IP, 5 H, 3 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 6 K, Win; J. Ristau 2-4, RBI, R; E. Anderson 1-4, RBI, R; H. O’Connor 1-3, RBI; K. Biel 1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K, Save. GMLOK: A. Kolling 1-3, 2 RBI, 7 IP, 8 H, 4 R, 2 ER, 4 BB, 4 K, Loss; M. Voigt 2-4, 2B, R. Down 2-0, GMLOK scored three in their sixth, two on a Kolling single, to make it 3-2. FCL then got RBI hits from Anderson and Ristau (the game-winner) in the top of the inning. GMLOK left the tying run on second in the final inning. FCL won its second, eclipsing last year’s win total. GMLOK > 3-2, 4-7)

R-P started the game with a 10-run first inning to lead 10-2 after one. Houston’s pitcher Emily Botcher did not play. Trojans > 0-5, 3-6. Canes > 6-1, 6-5) 

Spring Grove 1, Goodhue 5 (SG: E. Ingvalson 3-3; I. Kaufmann 1-3, HR, RBI, R; B. Middendorf 6 IP, 5 H, 5 R, 1 ER, 5 BB, 2 K, Loss. The Lions led 1-0 after the Kauffman home run. Both teams had five hits, but there were seven SG errors. Lion pitcher Middendorf allowed only one earned run. SG > 1-4, 1-6)
