Houston’s Nicole Beckman celebrates at home plate with her team after hitting a home run against Schaeffer Academy. Houston would have a slow start to the game but would win 11-8. The victory was the 12th in a row to start the season (though they dropped their next game to Hayfield 5-2). The Hurricanes (8-0, 12-1) narrowly trail Southland (9-0, 12-1) in the SEC.
