The Caledonia/Spring Grove/Houston soccer boys opened with a 2-0 shutout road win at Plainview-Elgin-Millville. While Warrior goalkeeper August Allen made five saves, Austin Meyer and Lyle Myhre scored unassisted goals. Both C/SG/H scores came during the first half of the Sept. 2 conference matchup. It was the boys’ first shutout win since last year’s season opener. The boys were finally able to face an opponent after the first scheduled game was postponed and the second match canceled.
