Members Present: Mayor Benson Council members O’Donnell, Linder, Ryman, and Volkman Staff Present:  Admin Chladek, Clerk/Treas. Zacher

Notices and Consent Agenda: BAM Bicycling Event Aug 17-18 at Creekside; Bluffland Tri Aug 19 at park, Trails, Bluff; Chamber letter introducing new RPVCC coordinator Stephanie Eggert, Adult Literacy setting up outreach mobile classroom downtown; notice of filing for city election 1 Mayor, 2 Council members.   verified claims and fund summary report, PWD report, financial statement, Police Rev/Exp Report, Police Activity Report, Utility Fund Recap, EDA/RLF loan recap.  Stephanie Eggert attended meeting to introduce herself.

Following closed session early this date with EDA, decision made to offer Farmer’s WIN $225,999 with no contingencies on environmental issues for the property downtown.  If offer is accepted, City will conduct due diligence on environmental studies before any development is begun.

Contract with UofM Community Development for Entrepreneurial Development Profile for City regarding the retail economy.

Discharge loan to Rushford Hypersonic and Dan Fox for $145,000  After legal investigation and judgment filed, determined there are no assets for the business, business dissolved and no personal assets or income.  Resolution to official record will not pursue collection and discharge as bad debt.

Eilen Drive trail progressing – asphalt in place, shaping, grading seeding coming soon along with electric.  Water Tower project progressing, letters sent to surrounding property owners, equipment staged, new logo is in production.
