Members Present: Mayor Benson, Council members O’Donnell, Ryman, Linder, Volkman
Staff Present: Administrator Chladek, Clerk/Treas. Zacher
The meeting was called to order by an electronic group meeting on Zoom.
Consent Agent: verified claims and fund summary report, PWD OT and banked hours report; financial statement fund summary budget to actual report; police dept. revenue/expense report, police activity report, utility fund recap report.
Burt Svendsen, Library Board Chair, and Beth Nelson, Library Director presented the 2019 Annual Library Report and reported on new activities and renovations at the library.
Appointed Joshua Brown, Tucker Eide, Lukas Rasmussen, Dakota Larimer and Trey Rigger to the Rushford Fire Dept. Chief Rasmussen detailed training requirements, probationary requirements and so forth.
Approved airport project bids for Airfield Pavement Project $494,690.75, Dunn Blacktop and Electrical Vault Project $183,779.00, Norman’s Electric Svc. Projects are funded by federal grants subject to appropriate grant paperwork being approved/forwarded to the FAA.
Approve Resolution Ordering Preparation of Report on Improvements on the 2022 Trunk Highway 30 Project, determining improvement to be necessary, cost-effective and feasible and determining methodology to calculate assessments for benefited parcels.
Guidelines for local restaurants to use additional space for outdoor food and alcohol sales. Playgrounds to re-open and notices will be posted to remind users to remain safe noting the City is not cleaning the structure.
Discussion on swimming pool and guidelines and rules provided by CDC/MN Dept. of Health for reopening. Public works directed to get pool operational/ready for use and staff to develop guidelines for safety and operation for both staff and patrons. Unique enforcement dynamics and restrictions will be in place. Capacity rules, distancing rules, disinfecting and mask rules in place
