I had a meeting scheduled in Caledonia, Minn., recently, and Good Times Restaurant and Bar was the place of choice.
Over the past decade, our family has spent quite a bit of time in Caledonia, attending basketball games for our daughter and son. So, we have become quite familiar with Good Times.
Restaurant owner Sarah Glasrud runs a fine establishment. Caledonia has quite a number of tourism destinations. Along with lunch or supper at Good Times, my wife and I have enjoyed golfing at Ma Cal Grove Country Club. Especially, this past summer. My favorite part of the course has to be the wide fairways. I tend to zig zag.
Back to Good Times.
For our lunch meeting, I ordered broiled walleye with a side of sweet potato fries and broccoli.
I have to say that if you make a trip to Good Times Restaurant and Bar, if you are considering ordering the walleye, just do it. You won’t regret it. I personally like broiled walleye, but I believe batter-fried is also an option.
It’s not just the food. It’s also the ambiance. Good Times offers a nice setting for a family outing, business meeting, or formal dinner.
Every time I’ve eaten at Good Times, I’ve tried something different on the menu. Burgers, steak, chicken – anything I have ordered has been spectacular. And, the service is stellar. Food comes out of the kitchen fast and the servers are always checking to make sure you have what you need. Obviously, the team at Good Times Restaurant and Bar has the right ingredients for success.
