The Fillmore County Discussion on Race (FCDoR) will be holding an observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day at the Fillmore County Courthouse in Preston from 1-2 p.m. on Monday, January 18.
The event is meant to be an open space for the public to discuss, speak and share messages of peace, hope and justice in this time of deep division. A table will be outside the courthouse with a banner. Candles and music are also encouraged as we remember those who have come before us and as we continue in the work of justice today.
Be sure to dress warm! Hot cider will be provided.
