Marcella M. (Vrieze) Boyer passed away on May 21, 2026, after a long battle with Huntington’s disease. She is buried in Hamilton cemetery near the family farm, and next to her husband, David Boyer. Her celebration of life was on May 29, 2026, at the Racine Methodist Church.
She is survived by her mother Donna Mae (Kleinwort) Vrieze, her brother Henry (Sandi) Vrieze, sister Susan K. Vrieze (Bruce) Hemphill, her nephew Carter Duncan, and brother-in-law Bryce Duncan.
Marcy is preceded in death by her father Avery D. Vrieze, her husband Dave Boyer, one sister, Arlis Ann; her maternal and paternal grandparents, and many cousins and friends.
