Letter about… The unstoppable march for a better nation
To the Editor,
Racists are one of the main groups who support Trump, but times are changing for them. Statues of American traitors who helped kill hundreds of thousands of Americans are coming down. NASCAR has banned the ugliest symbol in America, while Trump insists we honor American traitors by continuing to name military bases after them. A second group of Trump supporters are evangelical Christians. Most evangelicals believe the Bible is 100% factual. They believe God spent 40 days slowly torturing and drowning nearly all of humanity and most mammals, and yet they still worship this worst mass murderer in history, while the Ark was apparently filled with brontosaurus, stegosaurus, etc. There’s also plenty of evil laws and rules: stoning non-virgins, stoning a man who gathers sticks on the sabbath, etc. Racists and irrational people will not win in November. Trump, the immoral divider, has no chance, because the majority of Americans are decent people who do not live in a twisted fantasyland or harbor a malignant form of patriotism.
