To the Editor,
I would like to thank our Congressman Jim Hagedorn for his work to provide quality and timely medical care for our veterans of southern Minnesota.
Jim brought together dedicated individuals from Mayo Clinic and the veterans administration to establish the Community Care Program for veterans.
This contract between Mayo Clinic and the VA covers services of behavioral health, professional services, dialysis, general acute care, home health services, hospice, critical access and rural health clinic.
You can find more information about this program when you look up the Missions Act. The Missions Act enables our veterans nationwide to have better access to their local doctors and hospitals. The Missions Act was signed into law on June 6, 2018, by President Trump. Important VA health care changes came one year later.
The Community Care Program is meant to help our veterans of southern Minnesota and shows our Congressman Jim Hagedorn cares about you.
