The Chatfield City Council met in-person/virtually on February 8.
Councilor Josh Broadwater thanked the Chatfield Alliance, a community collaborative working to promote Chatfield, for their efforts to organize ChillFest. Mother nature definitely put the chill in ChillFest. Councilor Paul Novotny noted 35-40 people were tough and endured the freezing cold temperatures while eating their (Bites and Barrels) dinner in the park. Many more took their dinner home. Councilor Mike Urban said ChillFest seemed generally busy. It was nice to see some normalcy come back. Councilor John McBroom agreed there was a lot of buzz in town during the two-day event.
Councilors McBroom and Urban asked residents to help with snow removal on the streets by removing vehicles from the street during a snow event. McBroom added that sidewalks need to be cleared of snow for public safety.

The truck can be exchanged each year after the initial purchase for the cost of taxes, title, and other fees, assuming it meets the mileage and undamaged condition restrictions.
