James Richard McCabe passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 24, 2023. 
Jim was born in Cresco, Iowa, in the spring of 1936 and grew up in southeastern Minnesota. He was a veteran, serving as a U.S. Army Corporal. Jim was a hardworking dairy farmer most of his life, a butcher, a meat inspector, an artist and a wood carver, very involved in the agricultural world. 
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Jean; daughters Renita (Don), Jodi (Kevin), Julaine and Mindy; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by daughter Rhonda and son Marti.
