Harold Fravel obituary, Fillmore County Journal

Harold Fravel, age 67, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2026, at Methodist Hospital in Rochester, Minn., from complications of organ failure.

Harold was born May 26, 1958, in Cresco, Iowa, the son of Charles and Helen (Leistikow) Fravel. He graduated from Harmony High School in 1976. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Julianna Souhrada on July 2, 1977. Harold enjoyed farming, working on cars, tractors, lawnmowers, or anything with a motor. He was a fan of John Wayne movies, anything John Deere, and Chevy. He was an animal lover, especially his dogs, cats and horses. Harold was always busy at work or tinkering in the garage. At the time of his passing he was working for RLS Vinyl and Farm Supply in Hager City, Wis. Harold never met a stranger, and had friends wherever he went. More than anything, he loved spending time with his family: his wife, children, and beloved grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Julianna, children: Jason (Lindsay) Fravel, Amber Fravel, and Brianna (Andrew) Boettcher; grandchildren: Julia (Sam) Serleth, Jackson Fravel, Evelyn Fravel, Aubrey Fravel, Vivian Boettcher, and Grayson Boettcher; sisters: Nancy (Paul) Svelmoe, Irene (Larry) Mathison, and Judy (Darrol) King; mother-in-law Anna Souhrada, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.He is preceded in death by his parents.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Hoff Celebration of Life Center in Winona, Minn., from 2-6 p.m. To leave an online condolence please visit www.hofffuneral.com .
