The blood drive held in Harmony on April 11, 2017, succeeded in collecting 52 units of blood, which was two over their goal. There were 53 donors that presented and one first-time participant. Congratulations to these four donors who reached the following milestones:
• Sheryl Barr – 1 gallon
• Chris Johnson – 11 gallons
• Lavonne Mensink – 5 gallons
• Kay Ristau – 6 gallons
The bloodmobile is sponsored by the Harmony American Legion Auxiliary, and many of the volunteers are Auxiliary members. However, numerous volunteers from the community also help make our blood drives successful. Thank you to everyone for your continued support in this worthwhile effort.
