Gregory (Greg) Klug peacefully passed away at Gundersen Tweeten Care Center on Monday, August 4, 2025.
He was born March 22, 1953, in Caledonia to Leland and Patricia (Demmer) Klug. Greg graduated from Caledonia High School and was a lifelong farmer. Greg carried on the farming tradition at his farm west of Caledonia that has been in the family for over 100 years.
He is survived by his mother Patricia Klug and two sisters, Mary (Robert) Barrett of Seattle, Wash., and June Klug of St. Paul, Minn.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leland Klug.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, August 14, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Caledonia with visitation at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Holy Family Hall. Father Andrew Vogel will officiate, with a private family burial at Calvary Cemetery, Caledonia. A luncheon will be held at St. Mary’s Holy Family Hall immediately after the service. McCormick Funeral Home, Caledonia, is assisting the family.
