On October 25, Kyle Anthony Mancuso, 46, of Minnetonka, appeared before District Court Judge Jeremy Clinefelter. Mancuso is charged with six counts of Predatory Offender – Knowingly Commits Act or Fails to Fulfill Registration Requirement. Each is a felony. Three of the charges carry maximum criminal penalties of not less than two years nor more than five years in prison. The other three charges carry maximum criminal penalties of not less than a year and a day nor more than five years in prison. On or about March 7 through about August 24, the defendant allegedly did not update his primary address, secondary address, employment address, and vehicles regularly driven, as he is supposed to as a registered sex offender.
On October 17, Frank John Markowksi, 55, of Spring Valley, appeared before District Court Judge Jeremy Clinefelter. Markowski is charged with Violate No Contact Order – Within Ten Years of the First of Two or more Convictions. It is a felony with a maximum criminal penalty of five years in prison and or a $10,000 fine. On or about October 5 thru 13, the defendant allegedly violated a Domestic Abuse No Contact Order (and an amended DANCO Order) by texting a protected victim. Markowski has two prior domestic violence-related offense convictions within the last ten years, September 18 and March 6 each in Fillmore County (2023).
