On January 3, Francisco Hernandez Aguirre, 31, of Fond du Lac, Wis., appeared before District Court Judge Jeremy Clinefelter. Aguirre is charged with Receiving Stolen Property, a felony with a maximum criminal penalty of five years in prison, a $10,000 fine, or both. On or about December 31, sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to Harmony regarding a stolen car at the Kwik Trip. The defendant allegedly was not with the car, but was found walking a few blocks away. He allegedly matched the description of the person who stole the car and allegedly had on his person the keys for the stolen vehicle.
On January 3, David Fredrik Miron, 20, of Chatfield, appeared before District Court Judge Jeremy Clinefelter. Miron is charged with two felonies; 2nd Degree Assault – Dangerous Weapon and Threats of Violence. The first carries a maximum criminal penalty of seven years imprisonment (but not less than one year plus one day) and/or a $14,000 fine. The second carries a maximum criminal penalty of five years in prison and/or a $10,000 fine. On or about January 1, a Fillmore County Sheriff’s Lieutenant was dispatched to a Chatfield residence regarding a domestic assault. The defendant allegedly attempted to assault his two brothers with an “apple cutting” knife.
On January 10, Devin Ray Dotzenrod, 39, of Canton, appeared before District Court Jeremy Clinefelter. Dotzenrod is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, a felony with a maximum criminal penalty of five years in prison and/or a $10,00 fine. On or about January 9, during a traffic stop, 1.8 grams of tested positive methamphetamine were allegedly found in the vehicle the defendant was driving.
