• Board approved advertising for a replacement Facilities Maintenance Worker as requested by the Building Maintenance Supervisor and Personnel Committee
• Board approved hiring Blake Lea, Land Use Director, Grade 17/Step 2 at $42.87/hour effective September 29th, 2023, as requested by the Administrator and recommended by the Hiring Committee
• Board approved the job classification Assistant Land Use Director at Grade 12
• Board approved to change Cristal Adkins from Zoning Administrator classification to Assistant Land Use Director, at Grade 12/Step 10 at $38.37/hour effective September 29th, 2023
• Board approved advertising for a temporary Transfer Station Attendant as requested by the Solid Waste Director
• Board approved the 2024 benefits as recommended by the Benefits Committee
Highway:
• Board approved to purchase a 2023 Dodge Ram 1500 Classic Quad Cab 4×4 in the amount of $40,815.00
• Board approved Resolution 2023-036: for authorization to execute the MN Department of Transportation Grant Agreement for Airport Improvement excluding land acquisition
Administrator:
• Board approved Resolution 2023-037: 2024 Preliminary Levy
Public Hearing:
• Luis Hummell thanked the Board for their continued work and asked the Board to consider two further changes, the board will review them in the future
• Bonita Underbakke supports the Ordinance language and the hard work that led to Fillmore County leading the way with point-of-sales policies
• Board approved the Amendment of an Ordinance Regulating the Sale of Hemp-Derived Consumer Products, Edible Cannabinoids Products, Nonintoxicating Cannabinoids, and Lower Potency Hemp Edibles Food and Beverages
