Spring Grove Communications:
• Board approved the letter of support for Spring Grove Communications for the project presented for the Minnesota Border to Border project application
• Board approved a no-interest loan in the amount of $75,000.00 to the project with a 3-year loan payback
• Board approved a permanent easement for the project and will validate that the property is currently owned by Fillmore County, location is near the Spring Valley Highway Shop
Highway:
• Board approved entering into a cooperative access agreement between the State of Minnesota and Fillmore County for the work associated with the Forestville Bridge
• Board approved Resolution 2023-044: enter into a cooperative agreement with the State of Minnesota for the Forestville Bridge
Public Health:
• Board approved Brenda Pohlman, to apply for a NACCHO scholarship to the NACCHO Prep Summit 2024 in Cleveland, Ohio
Human Resources:
• Board approved the resignation of Alexandra Meldahl, Social Worker, effective November 10, 2023, with thanks after 2 years of service
• Board approved advertising for a replacement Social Worker as requested by the Social Services Director and Personnel Committee
• Board approved hiring John Peterson, Facilities Maintenance Worker; Grade 6, Step 1 at $22.27/hour; effective November 27, 2023, as requested by the Building Maintenance Supervisor and Hiring Committee
Administrator:
• Board approved the Recorders and Auditor/ Treasurer Department Cash classification for 2023, noting that the existing petty cash funds stay the same and the Auditor/ Treasurer and Records Departments have Change funds
• Board approved the Ag Intern agreement for the University of Minnesota- Extension Contract for 2024, noting that this has already been included in the approved budget
• Board approved the agreement with SWCD for temporary office space at $1,700.00/month on a temporary basis
• Board approved Paybook #6 for the Jail project per Construction Manager, Contegrity Group
