• Board approved accepting the VIN (Veterans in Need) grant from the Prevent 22 group within the Social Services Department to assist veterans
Public Health:
• Board approved the Opioid Fund Expenditures to cover the costs of two doses of Narcan and two trainers
• A Public meeting for Opioid Funds will take place at the Courthouse on October 10th, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. Cities will be invited to attend per requirements, along with the County Opioid team, including the two Commissioners on the Community Services Committee
Highway/Airport:
• Board approved advertising for the following 2024 scheduled projects:
o SAP 023-601-036, CSAH 1 between CSAH 39 and west city limits of Spring Valley
o SAP 023-604-006, CSAH 4 From intersection CSAH 38 to CSAH 5
o SAP 023-612-034, CSAH 12 Bridge replacement in Carimona Township
o SAP 023-630-009, CSAH 30 Bridge replacement in Harmony Township

• Board approved Paybook #5 for the Jail project per Construction Manager, Contegrity Group
• The Board by consensus approved Hillery to use the credit card for gas on the way back from the MACA/MCHRMA conference for a ride share with Dodge County
