Fillmore Central Schools offering free summer meals

Fillmore County Journal - Fillmore Central Schools

Fillmore Central Public Schools #2198 is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all children without charge and meet nutritional standards established by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).

The meals are offered June 1-August 7, 2020, (no meals served on July 3). Fillmore Central Schools will be serving a free sack breakfast and lunch to anyone 18 years and younger.

If you have previously signed up for the meals during the shutdown you will need to sign up again for the summer meals on the Fillmore Central website fillmorecentral.k12.mn.us (under quick links choose Summer 2020-Summer Meal Sign-up) to enable the food service staff to have an accurate headcount for number of meals to prepare.  If you sign up and you decide you no longer wish to receive the meals, please call (507) 765-3809 to be removed from the list.

Locations/times to pick up your daily sack breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday:

•Greenleafton (west side of the church) 7:45-8 a.m.

•Preston Elementary (door #15) 8-8:30 a.m.

•Harmony High School (door #8) 8:15-8:30 a.m.

•Fountain (Trail Head) 8:45-9 a.m.

There will be no at home deliveries for summer meals.
