Families, make plans to attend the Wykoff Fall Festival this weekend, September 23-25.

Festival organizers announce, “We’ve added lots of events this year!”

The weekend kicks off with a concert on Friday night featuring Matt and Brenda Stier, and the 4-H soft-serve ice cream social. Afterwards, sit back and enjoy a drive-in movie while devouring a bag of hot buttered popcorn and a large box of milk duds.

On Saturday morning is the annual Wykoff 5K race. Vendor booths will open for business at 9 a.m. in the community center. At 10 a.m. the community will hold a dedication ceremony in Veterans Park followed by the Fall Fest Parade lead by Grand Marshalls Al and Betty Schmidt. New this year is bingo on Saturday with cash prizes.

Check out the new food trucks featuring an array of mouth-watering entrees or enjoy a traditional German meal prepared by The United Methodist Church. The Wykoff Lions will be serving brats.

Kids are in for a full schedule of activities including a bounce house, swing, Ring the Bell, obstacle course, face painting, sand pile, cake walk, candy bar bingo, carnival games, Nan Kids train ride, mini golf, medallion hunt, and speed pitch.

Highlights on Sunday are the tractor pull and Wykoff Fire Department chili feed.
