The annual Fall into Lanesboro event takes place on Saturday, October 1, from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. at various locations throughout picturesque Lanesboro. Some activities are free, and others cost.
Event organizers describe the event as a “Family-friendly, fun-filled fall event to enjoy Lanesboro with a scavenger hunt, wagon ride, pumpkin & cookie decorating, and so much more!”
Stop at the Lanesboro Visitor Center when you arrive in town and pick up your free Lanesboro Quest scavenger hunt card, followed by a visit to the Farmers’ Market in Sylvan Park. The park has two trout-stocked ponds that create the park’s focal point surrounded by mature trees with a majestic scenic bluff as the background. Selfie time!
There will be free wagon rides taking visitors throughout downtown.
Include time to solve the corn maze at Farm Pumpkins & Corn Maze at 32060 Furrow Road. Do not forget to purchase pumpkins for baking, carving, and decorations.
Adults can enjoy free beer and wine sampling at Granny’s Liquor in the afternoon and a visit to the Lanesboro History Museum, or attend “The Mystery of Edwin Drood” at the Commonweal Theatre.
After a fun day in the outdoors, enjoy a relaxing autumn evening in Lanesboro. The Lanesboro American Legion is hosting a fish fry starting at 5 p.m. River Crossing is performing live at High Court Pub. Lanesboro Arts is presenting Audacious Raw Theater Year 6 Part 2 at St. Mane Theatre and “Good People” at the Commonweal Theatre.
