Dorothy Jean Brandenburg, age 89, passed away December 27 at the Knox County Nursing Home in Knoxville, Ill.
She was born July 23, 1932, to Joseph M. and Palma Larson. She married Ira Brandenburg in 1953. Dorothy was a graduate of Kahler School of Nursing in Rochester, Minn., and was a registered nurse in Galesburg, Ill., for many years. She is survived by sons Mark, Kevin, and Craig and by grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters Beverly Holmes of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Phyllis Emery of Mabel, and brother Joseph P. Larson of Mabel.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her daughter.
