Deborah Moran, age 72, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026, at Winona Health.
Debbie grew up on a farm outside of Peterson, Minn. She graduated from Peterson High School in 1971, and she attended college in Marshall, Minn., and graduated from Mankato State University.
Debbie moved to California, where she lived in Manhattan Beach, San Pedro, and Long Beach. Her professional journey took flight at Northwest Airlines, where she worked in Sales and Reservations. Through her career, she had the opportunity to travel the world.
Debbie returned to her roots in Minnesota, alongside her friend, Gary Trupp. Back in her home state, she remained devoted to her passions, particularly her love for animals and sports. An enthusiastic fan of basketball, football, and baseball, Deborah spent her days and evenings watching games all year round.
Debbie is survived by many cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Clair and Clenora, and sister Lucy.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 1 p.m. at Hoff Funeral Home – Rushford, 780 North Mill St. Rushford, Minn., with visitation being at 12 p.m. Debbie will be laid to rest at East Grace Lutheran Cemetery in Peterson, Minn.
Hoff Celebration of Life Center is assisting the family.
