Members Present:  Mayor Benson Council members O’Donnell, Ryman, Volkman Absent:  Linder 

Staff Present:  Clerk/Treas. Zacher, Administrator Chladek

  1. Wefel, of the Coalition of Greater MN Cities reported on recent legislative activities, other projects and areas of concern from MN cities.

Consent agenda:  approve verified claims paid 

Approve Resolution on Residential Rehab Loan for Eric & Jane Thompson.

Approve Resolution on EDA/RLF commercial Improvement Loan to Semcac for $50,000.00 to assist in funding for property improvements at 204 S. Elm St.

Approve Resolution designating Polling Place for Precinct #155 for 2025 as City Hall, 101 N. Mill St.

Review spreadsheets of revenue, expenses and historical data prior to setting max levy for collection in 2025.  Reviewed updated capital projects spreadsheet. Approve Resolution setting public comment date for December 9, 2024 and setting max levy at $1,180,232.00; an increase of 3.65% over last year.

Updates:  Legion parking lot improvement completed, shared cost with City; Riley Anderson completed Type IV biosolids training and is eligible to be licensed; Cutouts in sidewalk and stone work is completed; metal grates made by Connaughty, trees purchased with State landscape grant have been planted; Also planted trees filling in on other highway areas, two memorial trees in Creekside Park and trees planted by new Rushford entrance sign; airport change order completed for adding and deducting of certain work on the t-hangar, net result $1,062.91; purchased new battery powered wrench of levee flood gates and can be used for water with separate insert, faster operation and safer for employees; Open Doors Tour downtown well attended
