An effort to begin both long and short term strategic planning for the City of Rushford Village has begun via a land use survey. The city’s Economic Development Director, Rebecca Charles, will be conducting a survey of rural landowners within the city limits of Rushford Village to collect data from residents. Not all residents within the Village will be receive a survey as properties were identified by specific criteria. Surveys will arrive with postage paid return envelopes that can be mailed in, or dropped off at the Village Hall. Director Charles hopes to have all surveys back no later than April 17.
Data collected through this survey can be used to determine the need for, and/or want for a range of amenities, including: recreational trails, residential development opportunities, commercial opportunities, parks and other amenities. Information will allow the city to prioritize projects that are favored by, and beneficial to residents. A report will be made available to the public at the conclusion of the survey to view results.
Surveys are expected to be mailed out before the end of the month. For any questions or concerns regarding this survey and its process, please contact Economic Development Director, Rebecca Charles at rebecca.charles@cedausa.com
