Christmas in Peterson – December 10

Now in its ninth year, this event is an enchanting opportunity to gather with friends and family to celebrate the holiday season.  Discover all the best that small town America has to offer.  Shop the season at local businesses, including Turned Write Handcrafted Art and the Boutique Station, enjoy roving carolers, order hot sandwiches and delectable Scandinavian treats at Grace Church. Treat yourself to a meatball dinner and slice of pie at Burdey’s Café.  Free hayrides (one driven by Santa) will be provided to deliver you, toasty and warm, between visits with the many talented crafters and bakers displaying their regional and seasonal specialties in select locations.  Special children’s activities will be available at city hall between noon to 4 p.m. That may be the perfect time to take some family photos next door at the historic bandstand and park already decorated for the Christmas season.
