Carolynn M. DiTrocchio, of Harmony, Minn., passed away suddenly on April 22, 2023, at the age of 78.
Carolynn Marie was born to Howard and Thelma (Busse) Applen on April 13, 1945, in Preston, Minn. She graduated from Harmony High School in 1963. After graduation she started working at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, Minn., and continued working in the medical field for several different doctors as an office manager across the county.
She married Pat DiTrocchio on November 11, 1983. They lived in Florida, North Carolina and Tennessee before returning to Harmony in 2013.
She is survived by her husband Pat, daughter Jackie (Daniel Brummel) Knudsen, stepchildren Maria (Jon) DiTrocchio and Matthew (Lori) DiTrocchio, granddaughter Kirsten Knudsen, six stepgrandchildren, her mother Thelma Applen, sisters Kathryn (Stan) Eide and Lana (Glenn) Soppa and a sister in-law, Nancy Applen.
Carolynn is preceded in death by her father, son Michael Larson, two grandsons, Ryan Knudsen and Seth Larson; and a brother, Roger Applen.
A memorial service is planned for 2 p.m. on May 17, 2023, at Lindstrom Funeral Home in Harmony. Friends may call one hour prior to services beginning at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Lindstrom Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
