Carol Ulbricht obituary, Fillmore County Journal

Carol A. Ulbricht, 94, of Beaver Dam, Wis., passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023, at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam.

Carol was born on May 7, 1929, in Beaver Dam to Ernest and Emelia (Soldner) Lauth.  She was married to Raymond L. Ulbricht on September 10, 1949, in Beaver Dam.  Carol worked at Spurgeon’s Department Store for many years.  She was a member of St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam.

Carol is survived by her children Paul Ulbricht of Tampa, Fla., and Christine (Lyle) Danielson of Spring Valley, Minn.; four grandchildren: Jason, Russ, Heidi and Daniel; two stepgrandchildren, Sara and Brian; 11 great-grandchildren, her sister Ruth (Chuck) Miller, sister-in-law Rose Larson, brother-in-law Ronnie Ulbricht, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Raymond, and siblings Arnold (Audrey) Lauth, Virgil (Pat) Lauth and Anita (Jim) Reabe.

A visitation will be held at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Monday, September 25, 2023, from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m.  Rev. Paul Stratman will officiate.  Interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Beaver Dam.

Memorials may be directed to the St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam – Restoration Fund.

Carol’s family would like to thank the Beaver Dam EMT, Fire and Rescue, the Marshfield Medical Center in Beaver Dam, St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison, and the nurses and CNAs at the Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam Hillcrest floor for all their care and support.
