The blood drive held in Harmony on November 29 succeeded in collecting 57 units of blood, despite the snow storm! There were 52 donors that presented, of which six donated Power Reds (two units). Congratulations to the following six donors who reached these milestones:
Abraham Gingerich – 3 gallons, Daniel J. Gingerich – 7 gallons, Pam Hoppe – 8 gallons, Jane Montgomery – 8 gallons, Darrel Olson – 6 gallons, Myron Rediske – 3 gallons.
The bloodmobile is sponsored by the Harmony American Legion Auxiliary, and many of the volunteers are Auxiliary members. However, numerous volunteers from the community also help make our blood drives successful. Thank you to everyone for your continued support in this worthwhile effort.
The next bloodmobile will be in Harmony on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, from 1-7 p.m. If you wish to make an appointment, call Marilyn Bratager at (507) 937-3406 to schedule one, or schedule online at http://www.redcrossblood.org/.
