Betty Lou Brandt Obituary - Fillmore County Journal

Betty “Boppy” Lou (Fox) Isaacson Brandt of Grand Meadow, Minn., peacefully left us Sunday, July 24, 2022, at the Grand Meadow Healthcare Center.

Memorial services for Betty will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Bear Creek Lutheran Church in rural Grand Meadow, Minn., with Pastor Larry Iverson officiating. Burial will take place in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. at the church prior to the service.

Betty was born August 2, 1930.  She was the daughter of Clarence and Ida Fox.  She was a lifetime Grand Meadow resident.  She was married to Oswald Isaacson in 1949.  They had a daughter, Lana, and a son, Keith.  Oswald passed away at age 42 in 1960.  Betty remarried in 1969 to Donald Brandt.  They enjoyed camping and playing cards.  Betty worked at the GM Public School preparing meals for 10 years.  She also worked with Meals on Wheels for many years.  Boppy did childcare in her home for neighbor kids.  They were the highlights of many days.  She continued to keep track of Patty, Kelli, Craig, Eric, Chrissy and Katie’s lives.  She was a baker and made lots of treats.  She loved playing Bingo at the senior living.

She is survived by her children Lana and Keith, sister-in-law Elsie Fox, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Ossie and Don, siblings Irvin Fox, Arlene Anderson, June Freeman, Jack Fox; and nephews Gerald Anderson and Dean Freeman.

Memorials may be made to Bear Creek Lutheran Church or Meals on Wheels.

Online condolences may be left at Hindtfuneralhomes.com.
