Parker Johnson gets back to second base safely ahead of the throw to Houston’s Alex Walters in the teams’ SEC matchup. GMLOK posted a 12-5 win in the contest for their first victory of the season.

Chatfield 11, Wabasha-Kellogg 1 (C: C. Boyum 5 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 10 K, Win, 1-3, R; Cole Ramaker 2-4, two 2B, 3 RBI, R, 2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 2 K; Jack Dornack 2-3, two 2B, RBI; W. Nolte 2-5, RBI, 2 R; Ben Carrier 1-3, 3 RBI, 2 R. Chatfield had a seven-run fourth inning to break a 1-1 tie)

Fillmore Central/Lanesboro 1, Rushford-Peterson 8 (RP: R. Schneider 6 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 6 K, Win; Cayden Lea 2-2, 2 RBI, R; Zach Baker 2-4, RBI, R; Jonah Bunke 2-3, R; Evan Kammerer 1-3, 2 R; Creighton Hoiness 1-3, 2 RBI, R. FCL: Bridon Bahl 2-3, 2B, R; Lucas Rogers 4 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 8 K, Loss. Rogers and Schneider were the starting pitchers. Rogers left after four with R-P leading 1-0. La Crescent/Hokah 5, Rushford-Peterson 0 (R-P: Z. Baker 2-3, Caden Johnson 5 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 3 K, Loss. The contest was scoreless through four. LCH had a three-run sixth to go ahead 4-0) 

Wabasha-Kellogg 2, Rushford-Peterson 3 (R-P: R. Schneider 6 1/3 IP, 7 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 0 BB, 6 K, Win; C. Hoiness 1-3, 2 RBI; Z. Baker 1-3, RBI; Cad. Johnson 1-2, R; C. Lea 2/3 IP, Save. Hoiness authored a two-run single in the sixth to break a 1-1 tie and put R-P up 3-1. W-K scored a run in their seventh on a double and a single but Lea recorded the save. Trojans > 2-1, 2-1) 

Chatfield 3, La Crescent/Hokah 9 (C: Nathan Allen 1-3, RBI; C. Ramaker 1-3, 2B, R; C. Boyum 4 IP, 6 H, 9 R, 5 ER, 2 BB, 7 K, Loss. The Lancers used a four-run bottom of third to break a 3-3 tie. LCH had nine hits, Chatfield 8. Gophers > 2-1, 2-2) 

Southeast Conference Baseball (4/8 – 4/11)

Houston 5, GMLOK 12 (GMLOK: N. Mundfrom 3-5, 2B, 3 RBI, 2 R; Sam Howard 3-4, 3 RBI; Connor Tangen 2-4, RBI, 2 R, 6 IP, 4 H, 5 R, 7 K, Win; Parker Johnson 1-2, RBI, 3 R. H: M. Rohweder 2-4, 2B, RBI, R; Grayden Beckman 1-3, 2B, RBI; Logan Olson 4 2/3 IP, 4 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 3 BB, 2 K, No Decision. Each team scored four in the first. The Bulldogs had a five-hit, four-walk, seven-run second to lead 11-5) 

GMLOK 0, #1 in A Lyle/Pacelli 10 (GMLOK: Caden Reiter 1-2. L/P scored five in the first inning on just one hit) 

Spring Grove 0, Southland 4 (SG: Jaxon Strinmoen 4 IP, 7 H, 4 R, 3 ER, 1 BB, 2 K, Loss; B. Jahnke 2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K, No Decision. The Rebels’ Riley Jax pitched a no-hit shutout, striking out 15, walking two) 

Houston 3, Glenville-Emmons/Alden-Conger 2 (H: M. Rohweder 6 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 2 BB, 14 K, Win; L. Olson 2-4, 2B, RBI; Z. Olson 2-4, RBI, R; N. Nelson 1 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 1 K, Save. Houston led 3-0 after five. GEAC got two in the sixth, leaving two in scoring position. In the seventh, GEAC’s last two outs were both made at home plate) 

Non-Conference Baseball (4/12) 

Houston 1, Goodhue 6 (H: M. Rohweder 1-3, RBI; G. Beckman 1-3, 2B, R; C. Geiwitz 3 IP, 4 H, 5 R, 2 ER, 2 BB, 2 K; N. Nelson 3 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 3 K. The Wildcats scored in the first four innings to lead 6-0. Hurricanes > 2-2, 2-3) 

GMLOK 2, #6 in AA Cannon Falls 12 [5] (GMLOK: N. Mundfrom 2-3, HR, RBI, R; P. Johnson 1-3, RBI; C. Tangen 5 IP, 5 H, 7 R, 2 ER, 3 BB, 9 K, Loss. Four of Cannon’s six second inning runs were unearned, as they built a 7-1 lead. The Bombers were Section 1AA champions last year. GMLOK > 1-2, 1-3)
