Suicide prevention discussed at Lanesboro High School

Three children’s providers from Hiawatha Valley Mental Health Center recently presented to close to 200, 7th-11th graders, at the Lanesboro High School, about suicide prevention.  There were two presentations, each about an hour long.  The team talked about suicide, self-harm and how to recognize if a student or friend needs help.  In addition, discussion was had about … [Read more...]
