“Say It Loud” – I Am Proud

If I had a chance to meet our founders, I would first thank them for everything they’ve done. Most of our founders probably didn’t expect us to become the great and power¬ful nation that we are today. Thankfully, our ancestors’ cour¬age inspired us to carry out many victories which has made us a great country.
If I had a chance to meet our founders, I would have some questions. Like, what was it like 250 years ago? Back then there weren’t iPhones, soft serve ice cream, KFC or Chevy trucks.
Their everyday life must have been a lot different and harder than ours!
Our ancestors’ and founding fathers’ perseverance and sacrifices mean a lot to me. If America didn’t exist, I know I wouldn’t be here typing out this essay – on a laptop, no less. The founders would be proud to see what our country has become – 340 million people living in freedom and peace. This country has given countless opportunities to millions of people.
I am proud to live in America, a country built upon hopes and dreams.
