Trump Performance: Sorely Lacking 2

Critical comments about Mr. Trump from a well known supporter may surprise many of you. So be it; I have to be honest as I evaluate the first few months of his administration. Granted, there has been success and quite a few promises kept.

• The borders are now operating properly, no special legislation needed. Just a new POTUS.
• Federal tax on overtime pay eliminated.
• Deportations of illegals, many of them violent criminals, are proceeding, although not yet as many as were deported under Mr. Obama.
• Employment is at record highs, and tax rates including the 12% bracket are safe for now.
• Billions in wasteful spending has been identified and eliminated with prospects of much more. Rampant fraud is now being rooted out and prosecuted despite stubborn resistance from officials in blue states like Minnesota.
• Deaths from illegal drugs are down drastically. Drug dealers, violent cartel and gang members, and human traffickers are being hunted down and eliminated. Thousands of young people, especially girls, have been rescued from slavery and degradation.
• The travesty of boys in girls sports is being eliminated despite intransigence from blue states.
• Persecution of Christians and vandalism of churches so rampant under the Biden administration is no longer tolerated.
• For 50 years American Presidents fumed and blustered about the mideast bully Iran and took no action except to kick the can down the road. Trump is willing to deal with the problem.

Those are a few accomplishments, but now let’s discuss how Mr. Trump is a miserable disappointment to a major segment of his constituents. These folks share a belief and expectation that Mr. Trump will behave in the way they predicted. They are far out on a limb having made wild-eyed predictions, spent millions on demonstrations all across the world, telling everyone who would listen that Trump is an Authoritarian Dictator/ King and an existential threat to Democracy. And yet despite all their investment of time and treasure, Mr. Trump stubbornly refuses to behave as they assert!

Let’s face it. As a King, Tyrant, or Authoritarian Dictator, Trump is an abject flop. A loser. A flat out, non performing failure.

What Tyrant would defend parental rights, or the right of honest people to keep and bear arms?

What Dictator would allow unlimited protests where thousands gather to object to his administration?

What King would encourage the return of local and parental control of the education system?

Tyrants always want control of education, it’s the most important aspect of Despotism. Not Trump.

What true Despot would defend the right to worship as we wish and to proclaim our faith and even pray in public? What King would encourage free speech and allow dissenting ideas on social media?

The most disappointing aspect of all is Mr. Trump had four years between terms to learn all about running a Dictatorship; all he had to do was watch the Biden Administration lock us down during COVID, persecute Christians, lock up old people for praying outside abortion clinics,

release alien and other criminals with no bail, and pay social media giants to censor any speech or ideas they didn’t like. He had the perfect example, but did not seem to learn a thing!

As a King and Authoritarian Dictator, Trump has failed several million people, defying their predictions and making their protests look like sniveling, childlike temper tantrums. As for me and many millions of other Christian Nationalists who love America, we think he is doing just fine.
