Eagle Bluff Nature Preschool gets the whole family outside! As a part of our preschool, families are invited to participate in outdoor, nature based activities year round.

In the fall, we start the year with a family campfire to celebrate Fire Safety Month! This event helps to build our school community and gives children and families a hands on experience with the visit of a fire truck and local firefighters in full gear!

Come winter we celebrate the shorter, darker days of winter with a lantern walk, sledding and hot cocoa, and when the real cold sets in, indoor rock climbing for the whole family!

In spring, families are invited out for a pancake breakfast or baking day to celebrate nature’s gift of sweet maple syrup which our preschoolers help harvest and produce!

To round out the year and celebrate all we have learned, we give the children an opportunity to guide their families on the trails they now know so well, ending with a family picnic along the Root River.

These events build a strong school community, create lasting family memories, and allow the whole family to benefit from the positive effects of time spend in connection with nature!
