Chatfield’s Reid Johnson threw for three and ran for a fourth score as the Gophers blanked L-A 32-0 in a re-match of last year’s 1AA semifinals. Max Aug caught two TDs, Sam Backer eclipsed 100 yards rushing, and the Gopher defense held the Cardinals to 110 yards of offense for the game. LFC’s Carson Ruen won his third cross country race, the D-E Invite. R-P volleyball had 91 digs in beating D-E 3-1. Elly Malone led the way with 9 kills and 22 digs. Kenidi McCabe had 10 kills, 14 assists, and 8 digs, as M-C swept Southland 3-0. SG volleyball racked up 16 aces in beating G-E 3-0. R-P’s Kobe Lind caught over 100 yards worth of passes, but R-P football fell 37-22 in defending state champ BP.
