To the Editor,
From my “echo chamber” I want to tell you about my “imaginary friend.” I’ve received Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I estimate that I have read about a third of the Bible so far, and have listened to a lot of good Bible teaching. You have read the Bible through three times and have rejected Jesus, though you agree with most of His teachings. Dear sinner friend, God can save you too through His Son Jesus’ perfect sacrifice on the cross over 2,000 years ago. But don’t bring any of your good works or man-centered wisdom, because they are as filthy rags to Him. It’s not my desire or intention to ridicule you or win an argument. But that I might, by the grace and the powerful word of God, be able to cause you to see the truth. Would you agree with God that you are a sinner? You haven’t completely obeyed the Ten Commandments of God, have you? Ok, you’re a sinner. Romans 6:23 says, “the wages of sin is death.” So you’re condemned to Hell. But there’s “ONE” way out, Romans 6:23 also says, “but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” 2 Corinthians 5:21 “For He (God) hath made Him (Jesus) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him (Jesus).” Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Mark 1:15 “Repent ye and believe the gospel”. By the way, God is not on my side, I am on His side. Christ is more than an imaginary friend, He has power to save souls.
