Bluff County comes alive this coming weekend, October 21, 22, and 23. Residents and visitors will not be disappointed as there is a smorgasbord of fun, entertaining, and scary activities in all corners of Bluff County.
You will be scared! Harmony’s Monster Bash presents “Slim Chance.” There will be dark rooms and walkways, lights, music, blank stares, deep throat screams, and jumping out-of-your-skin performances, and a murder. Yes, a murder! The first in 10 years.
Monster Bash Haunted House has received the “Best Overall Haunt” four years in a row by minnesotahauntedhouses.com. Monster Bash is recognized for having live actors and themes that change from year to year. The non-profit has raised $113,000 over the past 10 years for the music, theater, and arts programs and their families in Harmony.
Caledonia is celebrating their status as the Wild Turkey Captial of Minnesota on Saturday, October 22, at Fall Fest. New this year is Turkeys Gone Wild Smoker Cook-Off sponsored by Elsie’s Bar & Grill. This is time to show off your talents!
Now that you are hungry, make sure to attend the Turkey Fest Fundraiser Dinner at “The Wall” in Caledonia with proceeds going to the North Park holiday decorations.
There will be free outdoor activities for children at Caledonia’s Fall Fest, a “Pub and Grub Comedy” show at Elsie’s Bar & Grill, Scare at the Fair at the Houston County Fairgrounds, Mainspring Vintage & Makers Market featuring local artists, a corn maze and pumpkin patch, and more.
