Let Freedom Ring

I think of I hear FREEDOM when I hear the word, America. I’m 98 years old and what I’ve seen in my lifetime is unbelievable. I worked for a TV company, “BMC.” I saw history being made when we went from black and white TV to color TV. I’m very proud of my employment with them so that means a lot to me. I lived in St Paul. MN, and being downtown, I had the choice to pick transportation to, That was a big deal to us back then. My father was a honest politician who respected everyone and had a heart working with The Red Cross. I remember my sister and I would listen to him talk about The Red Cross. I thought St. Paul was big in the 1960s. But look at it now. I worked starting at the age of 13 at a Walgreens drugstore. That was many years ago, and Walgreens is still in operation. Us girls worked, as the boys went to the service. I hope the future of daily life still holds dreams and freedom for all.
