Twilah Brown obituary, Fillmore County Journal

Twilah Dawn Brown passed away peacefully at her home on March 18, 2026. She was born on June 20, 1943, to Robert and Irene (Feine) Heiden in Rushford, Minn. She attended Little Rigley Country School and graduated from Rushford High School. She married Gaylord Brown on October 13, 1962, in Hart, Minn., and they were blessed with four children.

She was a dedicated farm wife, picked up odd jobs here and there, and enjoyed volunteer work. Family time was her favorite pastime – from “Grandma cookie baking” to antiquing with her children, attending all the grandkids’ and great-grandkids’ sporting events, and going all out with holiday decorations. She also enjoyed crafts, sewing, and gardening.

She is survived by her loving husband, their four children: Keith (Anita), Sonja (Mark), Jeff (Tammy), and Crystal (Jason); 10 grandchildren: Justin, Nicole, Taiya, Erin, Sidney, Taylor, Ian, Josie, Alex and Hannah; and nine great-grandchildren: Jeron, Allison, Jameson, Anders, Alea, Hudson, Willow, Leo and Ada. She is also survived by her sister Bonnie Winn, and sisters-in-law Ruby Heiden and Jeanette Brown.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her mother-in-law Myrtle Brown, her father-in-law Art Brown Sr., her brother Daniel Heiden, and her brothers-in-law Greg Winn and Arthur Brown Jr.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 27, at 11 a.m. at North Prairie Lutheran Church in Lanesboro, with a visitation one hour prior to the service.

Hoff Funeral Home Rushford is assisting the family. Please visit www.hofffuneral.com to leave an online condolence.
