NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON VACATION OF [A PORTION OF] EASEMENT BETWEEN PARCELS PURSUANT 24TO MINNESOTA STATUTE §412.851
Minn. Stat. §412.851 requires that two weeks published and posted notice be given on the hearing of the proposed
vacation. The notice should be published once a week in the official newspaper for two consecutive weeks, with at
least one week elapsing between the date of the last publication and the date of the hearing. The notice should be
posted at least 14 days before the hearing in three of the most public places within the city. Mailed notice must be
given to all affected property owners at least 10 days before the hearing. Mailed notice must contain a copy of the
Council’s proposed resolution for vacation and any petition received by Council requesting the vacation. The statute
does not require that notice be sent by certified mail.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a hearing will be held before the City Council of Spring Grove on the 24th day of May 2022, in the City Hall located at 118 First Avenue NW at 5:30 pm to consider a proposed vacation of easement located between parcel 26.0659.000 and parcel 26.0658.000 legally described as:
