The Planning & Zoning Commission of the City of Preston will hold a public hearing on Monday, May 16, 2022, at 5:00pm to consider a variance request from Tom Kaase, owner of the Jailhouse Inn.
Mr. Kaase, owner of the subject property at 109 Houston Street NW, is proposing to build a 32.5’ long x 16’ wide deck with a roof on the north side of the detached garage. City code requires a 4-foot setback to the side (west) property line. Mr. Kaase is requesting a side setback of three and a half feet.
The public hearing will be held in the City Council Chambers at City Hall.
