The special meeting of the Rushford-Peterson School District #239 was called to order by Chairperson Chris Grindland at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 in the Rushford-Peterson Schools Forum Room, 1000 Pine Meadows Lane, Rushford, MN 55971.
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Members Present: Chris Grindland, Matt Helgemoe, Joyce Iverson, Ken Sawle, and Amy Woxland
Members absent: Jeff Michel and Carl Schollmeier
Administration Present: Superintendent Jon Thompson
District Personnel: Toni Oian
Motion by Woxland, seconded by Iverson to adopt the agenda. Motion carries unanimously.
Motion by Woxland, seconded by Iverson to accept the retirement of Superintendent Jon Thompson at the end of the 2021-2022 school year. Motion carries unanimously.
A tentative Superintendent search timeline was reviewed. There was discussion on the process that will be used to hire a superintendent. No board action was taken.
